Carrier 42GW is a Idrofan cassette fan coil unit for hydronic air-conditioning systems and zoned temperature control. It operates with a chiller or heat pump and supplies cooled or heated air through an integrated fan and water coil.

The unit is integrated into suspended ceilings and is intended for offices, stores, restaurants, hotels, banks, laboratories and exhibition spaces. The range includes compact modules for 600×600 mm ceiling grids and larger 900×900 mm versions. Two-pipe, two-pipe with electric heater and four-pipe versions are available, with AC or energy-efficient LEC motors. Selection should consider required cooling and heating capacity, airflow, piping configuration, available installation space, acoustic limits, controls and service access.
