Carrier 42NFS is a Idrofan ducted fan coil unit for hydronic air-conditioning systems and zoned temperature control. It operates with a chiller or heat pump and supplies cooled or heated air through an integrated fan and water coil.
The series supports horizontal and vertical installation, is available in two-pipe and four-pipe versions, and covers airflow from 350 to 1,519 m³/h. Size 15 uses a cross-flow fan, while the other sizes use centrifugal fans. The enlarged filtration surface and multi-speed motors support low-noise operation and reduced operating costs. Selection should consider required cooling and heating capacity, airflow, piping configuration, available installation space, acoustic limits, controls and service access.
