EVAPCO Smart Shield® for towers is a complete solid-chemistry water treatment system engineered for open cooling towers. The package is factory assembled, piped and wired to simplify installation and commissioning.
The system controls scale, corrosion and microbiological growth. Controlled Release is intended for smaller loops with lower inhibitor demand, while Monitored Release uses an advanced probe to maintain precise inhibitor residual in larger systems. Solid chemistry eliminates liquid-spill risk and can reduce the weight of shipped and stored chemicals by up to 80%.
