The EVAPCO LCR-S VersaSplit is a factory-built low-charge ammonia condensing system designed for ceiling-hung, penthouse and other remote evaporators. Pumped VersaSplit-P and direct-expansion VersaSplit-D configurations are available. Ammonia charge is approximately 4–6 lb/TR depending on model size, evaporator selection and field piping.
Pumped models are installed locally near up to two evaporators. DX models can feed up to six remote evaporators operating at different suction temperatures. Air-cooled, adiabatic air-cooled and water-cooled condensing options are available with hot-gas, air or no-defrost configurations.
