ICE-PAK® units are factory-built EVAPCO thermal storage systems using patented Extra-Pak® ice coils with elliptical tubes. The design provides high storage density and compact use of available space.
During off-peak hours, a glycol chiller circulates low-temperature fluid through the coils, freezing the tank water. During peak hours, the ice melts and supplies stored cooling to the building system. Units feature industrial construction, heavy-duty components, high-density insulation and modern controls.
