EVAPCO RVS MVA/MVAC Matrix Vertical Accumulator Package collects liquid from the compressor suction line and protects compressors from liquid refrigerant carryover. Its factory-packaged design reduces installation time and combines the vessel, piping and Matrix LLC™ panel.
Vessels are available from 16 to 144 inches in diameter. In an MVA arrangement, collected liquid can drain to a transfer vessel or be boiled off according to the system design. MVAC models include an internal pipe coil for liquid boil-off or refrigerant subcooling. Standard MVA capacity reaches 5,401 tons of refrigeration.
