The Carrier 30XAS 242–482 series is designed for centralized chilled-water systems in commercial, industrial and public buildings. Its configuration combines an air-cooled condenser, screw compressors and automatic capacity control. The available range covers 232–467 kW. The unit is supplied as a factory-assembled package and can be integrated into the building water circuit. Selection should account for design load, chilled-water temperatures, ambient conditions, acoustic limits, redundancy and BMS requirements.
