A hotel requires an HVAC system that supports guest comfort, quiet room operation and reliable performance in public areas at the same time. Guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, conference halls, spas, fitness areas, laundries, lobbies and service rooms all have different schedules and air requirements. NIKLAND calculates loads for each functional zone, taking into account round-the-clock operation, seasonal occupancy, humidity and indoor air quality. Depending on the property, the solution may
include chillers, fan coil units, VRF systems, air handling units with heat recovery, dehumidification, automation and building management. Particular attention is given to low noise, concealed installation, redundancy and maintenance without closing guest floors. This approach helps hotels in Kazakhstan maintain service quality, control energy use and keep engineering systems reliable throughout the year.
NIKLAND’s engineering approach to hotels begins with an assessment of room occupancy, public-area schedules, heat gains, ventilation demand and the required level of guest comfort. For hotels in All Kazakhstan, calculations are performed separately for guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, kitchens, conference halls, SPA and fitness areas, laundries, offices and technical rooms. Depending on the hotel category, room count and building layout, the solution may include chillers, fan coil units, VRF systems, central air handling units with heat recovery, rooftop units, dehumidification systems and dedicated exhaust ventilation for kitchens and service areas. Equipment configuration is selected with regard to available electrical capacity, redundancy targets, acoustic limits, outdoor-unit locations and future maintenance access. During the design stage, engineers coordinate ductwork, piping, drainage, controls and service zones with the architecture and interior concept. Installation supervision focuses on vibration isolation, noise control, insulation, airtight connections, hydraulic and air balancing, and correct commissioning. After handover, NIKLAND provides scheduled maintenance, equipment diagnostics, coil cleaning, filter replacement, drainage inspection, sensor and actuator testing, and automation checks. This integrated approach helps hotels maintain a stable indoor climate, reduce energy consumption and avoid system failures during periods of high occupancy.
