Carrier 30XW 254–1702 is a Carrier water-cooled chiller for centralized chilled-water systems. The series covers 273–1732 kW and is suitable for industrial plants, data centers, business centers, hotels, shopping facilities and public buildings.
High-efficiency twin-rotor screw compressors use a capacity-control valve for accurate matching to the current load. The unit is installed in a plant room and operates with a cooling tower, dry cooler or another external heat-rejection circuit. Selection should account for design load, water temperatures, fluid quality, part-load operation, redundancy, acoustic requirements and BMS integration.
